Some of our members told us that FreeHand is widely used in some countries of Southamerica. For example in Bolivia from where Alvaro told us “Here in Bolivia 90% of the printer industry still uses Freehand. They also accept Illustrator and Indesign but prefer Freehand”. Or Mateusz from the republic of Poland who explained that FreeHand is still popular there – three years ago he was teaching about FreeHand at the Warsaw Advertising Shool. We also see from our own experience that many agencies in Spain prefer FreeHand over Indesign and Illustrator, even for large brochure productions.
