Las conspiraciones, las revelaciones, los agujeros negros…. la revolución ya está aquí en The Resistance, el próximo trabajo de Muse, el que posiblemente será el mejor disco de 2009. De momento ya es uno de los discos más esperados y así lo demuestra la enorme expectación que ha generado en la web de la banda inglesa .

El próximo 15 de septiembre saldrá a la venta el quinto disco de Muse: The Resistance. Y fiel al gusto de Matt Bellamy contendrá como en anteriores trabajos una buena ración de teorías conspiranoicas. No en vano, está basado en el libro de George Orwell, 1984.

Hasta la actualidad, han salido dos singles de The Resistance. Y bajo mi punto de vista son una maravillosa obra de arte. No me importa mucho que la canción United States of Eurasia tenga partes clarísimamente copiadas de Queen (de hecho les alabo el gusto) ni que hayan utilizado en esta misma canción una melodía de Chopin porque en definitiva el conjunto de este tema es propio de Muse.

Asimismo, Uprising, el otro tema que ha sido revelado -nunca mejor dicho- es una magnifica obra que recuerda a Marilyn Manson y a Vangelis juntos en la misma canción. Sin duda, esa es una de la claves del éxito de Muse un toque operístico y clásico junto con otro toque más oscuro y gamberro.
