Hace muchos años tuve oportunidad de entrevistar a la gente de Van Halen y a David Lee. Claro que no recuerdo nada de fiestas infantiles, pero a veces se crean muchas leyendas urbanas en torno a la gente del rock. No quiero decir con esto que la anécdota contada sea ficción.

Es muy posible que sea simplemente un rumor aunque tampoco me extrañaría que fuera cierto. Sería curioso observar hasta qué punto los mitos se construyen intncionamente en el mundo del rock.

Eso es falso. Ritchie aceptó la filmación del concierto a cambio de que ninguna de las cámaras entorpecieran la visión del público. Cuando empezó Highway Star andaba discutiendo, ya que no le habían hecho caso y una de las cámaras impedía la visión completa a una parte del público.
Así que al salir, cogió el vaso y lo lanzó contra esa cámara en señal de protesta. De hecho, en el dvd, tras lanzar el vaso con líquido la cámara deja entrever que tiene gotas adheridas a la lente.

Ok te agradezco la información. Desconocía esta versión de la historia. Había escuchado la que relato en el artículo. En cualquier caso resulta una anécdota muy interesante. Gracias por tu aportación este blog busca también mejorar la información con la ayuda de los lectores.
